Hummingbird Hepburn || Lady V London in Bryant Park

Audrey immediately came to mind when I first saw today's frock, and so it was no surprise to discover it was named for this iconic beauty.  The Hepburn Dress from Lady V London is nothing short of 1950's perfection, and today's hummingbird version is the loveliest print... spring elegance at it's finest.  Apparently the ruby-throated hummingbird is a plentiful species in NYC, so this dress is like an emblem of spring in New York!

I wore this ensemble for lounging in Bryant Park, an unbelievably quiet & stunning setting.  Flowers and architecture meet in this historic area, 2 of my favorite things combined into one magical aesthetic.  New York's ornate buildings and romantic florals make this city extra special, & constantly make me feel that I'm back in Europe.  Bryant Park was designed in 1686... it's crazy to try and imagine George Washington's troops crossing this area in the Battle of Long Island nearly 240 years ago!

I styled 2 the Hummingbird Hepburn dress in 2 different ways, such a glamorous & vibrant warm weather staple....

Brooklyn Bridge Betty || SIL Black Gingham Bullet Bra

As a sequel to my 'Retro Red' post last week, today I'm showcasing the versatility of the new Secrets in Lace gingham bullet bra by wearing as outerwear!  Also versatile in styling, this piece can be babydoll boudoir or rockabilly glam... as worn here on the beautiful 1883 landmark, the Brooklyn Bridge.  Built in Gothic Revival style, this bridge is even more breathtaking in person.  It's size, design and grandeur nearly overwhelmed me with awe!
